About Us

Our tradition is rich with progressive Christian values, rooted in Jesus' teachings of peace, love, justice, and equality. We believe that our faith is demonstrated by our actions, especially towards the care of the oppressed, disenfranchised, poor, and unwell. We are a building a community that worships God by demonstrating our faith every day through loving our neighbors.

We are catholic, but not Roman; orthodox, but not eastern; episcopal, but not Anglican; evangelistic but not evangelical. Our faith is for believers and skeptics alike, as we have been a sanctuary and refuge to those disaffected by mainstream traditions and politically distorted teachings of Christ for nearly two centuries.

As a progressive part of the one holy, catholic and apostolic church, we are welcoming of all who seek God's love.  We gather together to worship God and share God’s love in our lives, and to feast on our bountiful blessings through a Eucharistic meal.

No matter your personal or faith story, your questions or your hope, all are welcome.

Our Governance

As a member of Christ Communion, we are governed by the canons of Christ Communion as well as our individual Constitution and By-Laws.  For more information on each of these, please click the buttons below.
